Two homeless people injured in Portland hit-and-run

The impact of this crash resulted in the SUV driving up onto a sidewalk where there were several homeless people camping out. Authorities indicated that two individuals that were sleeping at the time were struck. The driver of the SUV then sped away going eastbound on Powell Boulevard.

The two homeless people struck were seriously injured in the hit-and-run crash, and they were transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Authorities are still trying to locate the driver of the white SUV responsible for both the automobile and pedestrian accidents.
