Pedestrian killed while using Greyhound service

When you go on a trip, the last thing you expect is to become a victim of the driver you're riding with. As someone who is familiar with the bus system, taking a Greyhound to get where you want to go is probably normal for you. Greyhounds typically have good customer service and careful drivers.

Despite that, this case surrounding a Greyhound collision has made its way to the news. A pedestrian was killed in unusual circumstances, and no one is quite sure how it happened. The accident happened at approximately 1:29 a.m.

It was then that a man was discovered dead under the wheels of the bus on the passenger side. The bus had been stopped while heading south, so it's not clear how the man ended up beneath the wheels.

A Central Point police detective stated that it's not clear what happened yet, partially because there was no security footage at the scene. The man also had no identification on him, but investigators do believe they know his identity based on the ticket he had purchased.

There are a few ideas about what might have happened, one from witnesses. They claimed that the man had been late returning to the bus and banged on it to be let back inside. Instead of stopping, the bus driver continued on, and that's potentially when the bus-pedestrian accident occurred. Someone riding on the bus called 911 after seeing the incident.

This crash is an example of how easy it is for pedestrians to suffer life-threatening or deadly injuries. If you're hurt in a crash, it's important to speak out and seek compensation for what you've gone through.
