Crashes can happen anywhere and at any time; smaller vehicles can cause severe crashes with larger vehicles by sideswiping them, cutting them off in traffic or brake- checking them. There are many causes of collisions in today’s world, but when someone’s negligence has led to your injuries, you need to step forward and make a claim. You deserve to have your needs taken care of.
This crash is a good example of how even a smaller vehicle can cause a major crash with severe injuries. A crash along the Oregon Coast resulted in several people being injured, according to the July 5 news, when a Toyota Prius being driven by an 18-year-old man collided with a motor home after he crossed the center line on Highway 101. It’s not known if he was drinking, driving when drowsy or if other negligence was the cause of the crash.
This impact from the smaller car caused the motor home to roll over onto its side. The crash resulted in the Prius coming to rest on the shoulder, where the teen was trapped inside his vehicle.
The teen had to be extricated from the vehicle and flown to the hospital, where his diagnosis was considered life-threatening. Fortunately, he was downgraded to serious condition later on that day and was able to leave the hospital the next day before noon. He is now recovering at home.
The driver of the motor home, a 67-year-old man, was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The 63-year-old passenger of the vehicle suffered minor injuries in the crash.
