Car accidents can quickly change your life and the lives of people in your life. Sometimes, severe injuries can be caused that result in disabilities or a lifetime of pain; other times, a loved one may be killed and the aftermath must be faced by the family. In any situation, when another person is responsible for the injuries or death, an attorney can help you or your family members get the compensation needed to cover the costs associated with medical bills, funeral expenses or other needs.

A crash that took place in Oregon took the life of a woman and left a toddler in her vehicle seriously injured after a vehicle pulled out in front of them on the road. According to the Oregon State Police, the woman had been driving on Oregon 62 in a 2007 Toyota Camry when a 2006 Jetta pulled out in front of her as the vehicle tried to cross at the intersection of the roadways.

The vehicles collided and both rolled over in the crash. The 28-year-old woman inside the Camry was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the Jetta was taken to Sky Lakes Medical Center to be treated for injuries that she had suffered. The toddler in the Camry suffered serious injuries and was taken to Sky Lakes Medical Center for treatment as well.

The crash is still under investigation, so police have not released any information on charges. If it’s found that the driver of the Jetta was in the wrong, she could be facing liability for the incident.
