The details surrounding a recent Portland car accident remain few as police continue to investigate. However, it is known that one local woman who was a passenger in the involved vehicle was severely injured as a result of the car accident. The incident occurred in the late evening hours on a weekend day.
Portland officials say that the vehicle involved in the car accident contained three people at the time of the incident. For reasons that remain unclear, the car smashed into a tree on Southeast Market Street. The impact caused one of the car’s occupants to be ejected from the vehicle. It appears that two other people did not suffer serious injury and were able to remain on the scene to assist in the official investigation.
The woman suffered serious injuries that were described as life-threatening after she was ejected from the vehicle. She was taken to a local medical facility for treatment. There, she will likely begin the recovery process necessary for many victims of car accidents as serious as this one.
In addition to the time necessary for the recovery of her injuries from the car accident, the victim in this case may also find that she faces significant financial costs as a result of the incident.
