Former congressman collides with pedestrian in Oregon

When you're a pedestrian, your very life could be in danger if a driver isn't paying attention. If a person takes a corner too quickly, doesn't see you have a WALK signal or speeds through a red light, you could quickly be hit and severely injured.

Do helmets prevent head injuries in biking accidents?

Car accidents involving bicyclists can be absolutely devastating. The injuries a bicyclist can suffer range dramatically from road rash to severe head and face injuries. There are laws in place to help keep drivers away from cyclists on the road, but accidents still happen. While the cyclist may be able to seek compensation from the driver, that won't reverse the damage that has been done.

Scooter injury? You may be entitled to file a claim for your pain

Scooters without engines probably aren't something you consider dangerous; they're toys, and they are used by people of all ages. They have two wheels, substantial braking mechanisms and handlebars. Electric scooters may have seating as well as an engine on the same general design. These are more dangerous, but they still have a limited speed that they can reach, making it unlikely to go very fast.
