There is some good news after a crash that occurred recently on a rural Oregon roadway. That is that no one died as a result of the incident. Unfortunately, six people suffered personal injury due to their involvement in the car accident.

According to early reports of the car accident, the two involved vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 6 and Northwest Gales Creek Road, near Banks. It appears that as one of the vehicles travelled on the roadway, the other pulled out in front of the driver. Unable to avoid the collision, the cars smashed into each other.

This impact caused several people who had been in the back of the pickup truck that was involved to suffer personal injury. They, along with the driver of the other car, had to be taken to a hospital for medical care. While they recovered, an official investigation was begin By Oregon police. They report that alcohol may have been a factor in the cause of this unfortunate incident.

The victims of the car accident who suffered personal injury may be able to make a claim against the driver at fault using our state’s laws. These types of claims can be made by those who, as is the case here, are injured as a result of the actions of another person. Such claims can include lost wages and pain and suffering. To determine if a victim is able to make a personal injury claim, they may wish to seek information relating to the applicable laws as they apply to the accident that caused them to suffer.
