Oregon police say driver didn't break before car accident

An Oregon woman who had been reported missing was discovered to have been involved in a car accident on June 14. She was identified as a result of the police investigation into the cause of the tragic crash. It is unclear why the woman went missing a day before being killed in a fatal car accident.

Car accident at dangerous Oregon intersection leads to injury

The intersection of Oregon 170 and Oregon 211 was the scene of another injury on June 6. The recent car accident at the dangerous intersection was just another one at the place that has been the site of at least two fatal car accidents and other collisions involving serious injury over the past few years. In fact, the intersection has been in the top 5 to 10 percent of the state's most dangerous for the past 20 years.

Car accident ends fun for spectators at Oregon festival

It is that time of year in the Pacific Northwest when every weekend is marked with festivals and farmers markets. In Oregon, there is no better time of year to enjoy the outdoors than the summer. That is just what many people set out to do when they attended the America's Global Village Festival on June 2. Unfortunately, the festivities were cut short when a driver crashed through barriers and into the spectator area of the event. The car accident ended with injuries to at least 24 people.

Bicycle accident takes life of avid Oregon cyclist

A charity bicycle ride took a tragic turn on May 19. An Oregon man was riding on Highway 18 near Grand Ronde when the bicycle accident occurred. He was riding with other bicyclists in the "Reach the Beach" charity ride. The accident brought the end to a life that was lived on the bicycle, according to the deceased man's friends. He guessed he had ridden 100,000 miles in the past 28 years.
